Commissioned by Channel Four to shoot, direct and produce THE SOMNAMBULIST, set in Mumbai about a city that never sleeps, but everyone wants to escape. Involved factory workers, transvestites, prostitutes and hermits in Kamatipura, Asia's biggest red-light district.
Filmed on several nights in the streets of Dongri and Nagpada, once infamous for bloody gang wars and riots. Visuals inspired by Freud's 'das unheimliche - where it all looks uncomfortably familiar and uncanny.
Seen on Channel 4 & 4OD by 4 million viewers.
