The NHS commissioned us to produce content to educate patients about improved outcomes with Breast Reconstruction after Cancer. This allows new patients to actually visualise how their new breasts will look after surgery, and gives them the confidence to feel whole again. Every patient in the North of England has access to this innovative content - that’s 33,000 women per year!
Content includes information on surgical procedures like using tummy fat or thigh gracilis muscles to make new breasts, ear lobes to make nipples, or even use tattoos to create areolae.
Supported by plastic surgeons, nurses, patients, models, photographers and animators, I led production and post for 60 minutes of end-to-end content consisting of:
- Still photography
- Scripted and unscripted video content
- Interviews from top plastic surgeons
- Motion design
- Patient stories
- Promos to publicise this content.
